This year’s rendezvous was nothing short of incredible with a weekend full of blue skies and sunshine… and a whole lotta smiles!  In case you’re not familiar, our annual rendezvous is a weekend-long event held in one of many beautiful ports in the Pacific Northwest.  It gives us the chance to reconnect and spend some quality time with our boat owners and their families in a relaxed environment.  This year and for the second year in a row, it took place in picturesque Friday Harbor on September 16-18th and I’ll say it again, we sure lucked out with the weather!

Friday’s potluck started off the weekend right with such fantastic dishes that we talked about putting together a recipe book for everyone to share.  With a total of 30 boats and about 80 people in attendance this year, that meant a lot of food!

The party continued Saturday night with another outstanding dinner catered by Downriggers, our favorite restaurant on the island.  After dinner, we had a raffle with so many prizes to giveaway that every person won at least one item and many people walked away with multiple prizes.  Our fabulous vendors (listed below) outdid themselves this year and it was much appreciated by all.

We had the pleasure of being joined by Scott Atkinson from Advantec Marine (the company that makes all of our windows and doors).  He made himself available to everyone for questions and tips regarding their windows and doors for the entire weekend and was extremely knowledgeable, not to mention warm and welcoming.

This year we had over a dozen kids in attendance, which validates the weekend as a true family friendly experience.  People and boats of all ages are welcomed, and we couldn’t ask for a better, more enjoyable group of people than we have in our Sea Sport community.  If you own a Sea Sport and you haven’t joined us in the past, you need to change that.  If you don’t own a Sea Sport and you’re curious about our boats, these people are ALL willing to share their experiences, as well as a peek into their homes on the water.  Stay tuned to find out when and where the 2023 Rendezvous will take place.  You don’t want to miss another one!

All of our amazing vendors who participated this year are listed below and we can’t thank them enough!  We have some of the most generous and thoughtful people who donated to our event because they know what it means to us.  We were able to spoil our boat owners with so many fun and legit prizes during the raffle, that it was one of the big highlights of the weekend.
